Norwegian Dawn Cruise to Bermuda

We sailed the Norwegian Dawn from New York to Bermuda on August 2nd. It was an awesome trip. Bermuda was beautiful and the beaches are breathtaking. The sand is really pink and it's the sofest sand I have ever felt. On our cruise we were fortunate that Phil Flowers was also sailing with us, he performed a couple of shows for us and it was so GREAT! He is an outstanding singer and awesome to watch. He touched our hearts on the last night we were there he invited the kids to come on stage with him to sing. A young man with Down Syndrome went on stage with all the kids and told Phil how much he loved him, it brought tears to Phil's eyes and proclaimed that is why he does what he does. I was fortunate enough to videotape it you can find it on youtube I would highly recommend a cruise as a vacation! However, we had an inside room with four people, if you can afford a room with a porthole or balcony I would definitely upgrade, the inside room with 4 people was really really tight! THe food was awesome! I ate shrimp and lobster everynight!!!!!!! Our cruise was sold out so it was a little crowded at times at the buffet and the pool area. People place their towels on the lounge chairs to save them early in the morning and then many times never go back to them which is frustrating. The "quiet" area was more roomier! The next time we go I would not do the 9 Beaches shore excursion but I would do a catamaran excursion. I can't wait to go another cruise! This was our second cruise and other than the room being a little to small we had an awesome time!
